So many Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Life is too expensive these days. When we are looking for goods and services, BarterBug provides a way to reach out to and ask for what it is we need, without spending any money. Because even if we don’t have much, we have each other.

Barterbug means less waste because we are buying fewer things. And it makes for sustainable communities through reusing, recycling and repurposing stuff that we already have.

Community and Trust

At Barterbug we believe in giving back more when we can and not being afraid to ask for something when we need it. It means stronger communities because we are turning to each other for support. Trust is woven into the fabric of the app thanks to an emphasis on localism and a full rating and reporting system to keep our users scam-free.
